It's about time... back at Ultimate Bet

Well, it has been a long time since my last post. I hope I can keep up on it a little better. Well what have I been up to? I have pulled my money out of Pokerroom, Bodog, and half of my money out of Doyle's Room. Why? Well, I took advantage of Ultimate Bet's 100% reload bonus. I stuck $105 in a week ago and I have run it up to $155 so far, and I have only cleared $10 of the bonus. I have been running very hot, and I have been getting paid off on my big hands. My biggest win so far was a $28 pot in a $.10-$.25 no limit game. The under-the-gun player raised to $.80, the button called, and I called with a pair of tens. The flop was a beautiful 4-9-10 rainbow and I checked it to the preflop raiser. He leads out with a $2.60 bet, and the button flat calls. I raise him an additional $2.60 and he moves all-in, the button calls the all-in. They both have me covered so I am all in as well. I figure the UTG has an overpair, and I am not sure about the button, he might be on a draw. The turn is a blank, but the river brings a third diamond. I am afraid that I have been outdrawn until the UTG turns over pocket Queens, and the button turns over Ace-Ten for top pair-topkicker. My set of tens is good and I triple up!

I am finding that I like playing again at Ultimate Bet. The 100% bonus is a very good deal. It is much better than Full Tilt's 100% bonus. Ultimate Bet will release your bonus $.01 at a time, you don't have to reach a certain point for them to release a lump sum. I received $15 of my $150 bonus at Full Tilt because it was so hard to clear. The other night I got into a $.01-$.02 pot limit Omaha 8/b game that was absolutely NUTS! The max buy-in was only $2.00, but there where two players with about $8.00 each. I guess they were into it with each other because everypot they were in was raised and reraised until they ended up all-in, and then one would have the low and the other had the high and the pot was split, and they would go at it again the next hand. I just sat back and folded every hand. Why? It was only costing me $.03 a round for my blinds, but with all the huge pots these two were creating I was getting enough points to clear $.10 a round of my bonus. It was like getting free money. Whats better than that?

All right, enough for now. I am going to try to keep up with this thing a little better, maybe I can pick up some readers that way.

Good Luck at the tables!
Chris
